The Miss Teen San Antonio Pageant for 2013 is an event unlike any other. Young women from the greater San Antonio area are getting ready to embark on a pageant journey that will take them from ordinary to extraordinary as they compete in three competitions to determine who will be crowned the 2014 titleholders. Unlike typical pageants, focusing too much on the outer beauty of young ladies of today's generation, the 2013 Miss Teen San Antonio pageant focuses on poise, composure, general atmosphere, energy and charisma: traits that will help this year's contestants grow and develop into strong young women on the inside.
When and how does the pageant work?
In early December, the 2013 Miss Teen San Antonio Pageant will commence with the contestants competing first in a Personal Interview with their judging panel. After that, the curtain goes up and the lights get bright as the pageant contestants model their choice of Casual Wear, their choice of Formal Wear, and then return for the Top Ten Semi-Finalist competition where each contestant is posed a question by the Master of Ceremonies. As the winners of each age division is crowned, she will receive the 2013 San Antonio title and an expense-paid trip to Orlando to compete in the 2013 National Competition in December.
National Miss Teen Title
By December 8, 2013, four lucky young ladies will be awarded the title of 2013 Miss Jr. Pre-Teen San Antonio, 2013 Miss Pre-Teen San Antonio, 2013 Miss Jr. Teen San Antonio, and 2013 Miss Teen San Antonio. Each will then be competing for the National Miss Teen title alongside winners from all over the country. At the National Competition, scholarships totaling $30,000 will be spotlighted. In addition to scholarships, there will be many other prizes including photography portfolios and a generous handful of trophies.
